What Does Microneedling Actually Do?
There’s a point that many reach with their skin. You’re incorporating the right products, following the advice and having regular facials and yet, your skin feels not quite where you want it to be.
Microneedling offers a different approach.
Microneedling is simple. It creates tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin, not to damage it, but to signal it to: repair, rebuild, renew.
Your skin responds naturally:
- increasing collagen
- improving circulation
- supporting healthy cell turnover
No forcing. No stripping. No harsh correction. Just support.
As we age, skin loses collagen, regenerations slows down, circulation weakens, the barrier becomes more fragile and Inflammation lingers.
This is when skin can begin to look:
- dull
- uneven
- less elastic
- more reactive
Microneedling gently interrupts that pattern, encouraging the skin to wake up again, without overwhelming it.
Is it for everyone? No.
Microneedling is NOT suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have active acne, eczema, rosacea, or open lesions
- Are currently on Accutane or blood thinners
- Have a history of keloid scarring
- Have autoimmune skin conditions (Scleroderma, Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Lichen Planus, Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus, Pemphigus Vulgaris, Bullous Pemphigoid or Dermatomyositis) unless cleared by a healthcare provider
- Have a history of epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights (due to LED therapy)
The difference is in the approach
More depth, more intensity, more aggression isn't better.
In our treatment rooms, we work at a controlled, supportive depth of 0.3–1.25 mm. Enough to stimulate change but not too much to stress the skin. Because when skin feels safe, it responds better.
Where red light therapy comes in
This is an essential part of how we treat. After microneedling, your skin is in a highly receptive, active state, already beginning its repair process. This is when we incorporate red light therapy as a continuation of the treatment.
Red light helps to:
- Calm and reduce visible redness
- Support collagen production
- Accelerate the skin’s natural repair process
- Reduce inflammation
It brings the skin back to a place of balance — quickly and gently. So instead of leaving inflamed or irritated, your skin is supported through that healing phase.
A treatment that respects your whole skin
We never treat the face in isolation. Your neck and décolleté are often the areas that show the most change over time. Treating all three together creates results that feel balanced and natural. Not overdone. Not disconnected.
What you’ll experience
Microneedling isn’t meant to be a drift-off facial. That's our Holistic Facial. Though many clients do fall asleep during their 30 minute Red LKight Treatment.
After your Microneedling treatment, the hydrating mask and the calming and restorative Red Light Treatment, you leave looking like yourself — just lightly flushed.
What begins to change
The results don’t arrive overnight. They build — and that’s why they last.
With consistency, you’ll begin to notice:
- smoother texture
- softened fine lines
- brighter, more even tone
- improved firmness
- a natural, healthy glow
But more importantly — your skin feels stronger. Less reactive. More resilient.
A more honest way to see results
There are no quick fixes when it comes to skin. But when Microneedling is paired with supportive home care and consistency, that’s when your skin truly begins to shift. Not just in how it looks but in how it functions. You don’t need to fight your skin to improve it. You don’t need to overwhelm it to see results. You need to understand it and support it properly.
This is Microneedling.
