Oil Cleansing: Our Timeless Secret to Radiant, Resilient Skin

We've been oil cleansing long before it was cool—and here’s why.

We believe in skincare that works with your skin, not against it. Oil cleansing gently dissolves makeup, impurities, and excess sebum without stripping your natural oils and NO oil will not cause blackheads or breakouts. Oil balances skin resulting in a glowing complexion that feels soft, nourished, and naturally radiant.

Why Oil Cleansers Work

Cleansing is the foundation of every skincare routine. But not all cleansers are created equal—and an oil cleanser works differently than gels or foams. Here’s why:

1. “Like Dissolves Like”
Oil attracts oil. Cleansing oils bond with excess sebum, sunscreen, makeup, and impurities lodged in your pores, dissolving them without harsh surfactants or stripping your skin’s natural barrier.

2. Barrier Protection
Foaming or harsh cleansers strip the skin’s protective oils, leaving it tight, dry, and compromised. Oil cleansers respect your skin barrier, so hydration, elasticity, and glow are preserved.

3. Gentle Yet Deep
An oil cleanser massages into dry skin, softening congestion and dissolving buildup. When removed with a warm damp cloth, it provides a mild exfoliation, encouraging cellular turnover without irritation.

4. Perfect for All Skin Types
Balanced, high-quality plant oils (like argan, sunflower, or jojoba) are non-comedogenic and mimic the skin’s natural sebum. This makes them suitable even for breakout-prone skin, helping regulate oil production over time.

5. Seasonal Skin Saver
Especially in winter, when skin is vulnerable to dryness, an oil cleanser prevents that “stripped” feeling and maintains comfort after cleansing.

How to Properly Apply and Remove Your Oil Cleanser

Oil cleansers are magic for dissolving makeup, SPF, and impurities — but the way you remove them makes all the difference.

👉 Step 1: Apply your oil cleanser to dry skin and massage it in. Moisten your finger tips and continue massaging to break down buildup.
👉 Step 2: Moisten a soft face cloth under warm (not hot) water, wring it out, and gently compress it onto your skin. Let the warmth loosen the oil and impurities.
👉 Step 3: Wipe away the cleanser using slow, downward motions. Flip the cloth over and repeat. I like to use white face cloths so I can see what's coming off my skin.

Keep a rotation of face cloths ready (they’re your oil cleanser’s best friend).

This ritual not only ensures every trace of oil, makeup, and SPF is removed, it also leaves your skin soft, balanced, and glowing.
