What a difference a year makes. One year ago I was in Sayulita, Mexico on a family holiday when I received news from Laryssa that we were closing our doors and going into lockdown and that all Canadians who were out of the country were to cut their trips short and return back to Canada. The whole situation was surreal. Who could have imagined that one year later, we're just re-opening again for in-store shopping but still not back in our treatment rooms.
We've worked to adapt and create a new rhythm. In spite of all the uncertainty and challenges that these times have presented, we have been blessed with you, our ORESTA community.
When we launched an online auction fundraiser, you helped us raise $4650 for 14 local charities which support the vulnerable in our city. Your willingness to help those in need was no surprise to us, because that's who you are.
When we fumbled trying to navigate the many challenges that this pandemic brought, you were kind and patient with us, because that's who you are.
When we felt down, you uplifted us with heartwarming messages of support, because that's who you are.
When we wondered how we would do business with our doors closed, you continued shopping with us, because that's who you are.
We are forever grateful to you for your kindness, generosity and loyalty. Thank you for shopping locally and for supporting us and fellow small businesses.
We see you, we continue to be here to serve you and we thank you.
