LED light therapy offers a painless, cost-effective, non-invasive yet extremely effective treatment which reduces pigmentation, age spots and scars, destroys acne bacteria and stimulates skin healing. LED treats a variety of skin concerns without chemicals or drugs. It is 100% natural, has no adverse side effects yet offers instant results.
LED uses visible light wavelengths (not ultraviolet light) to promote collagen production and cellular regeneration for smoother, firmer glowing skin. With multiple treatments, the RED light wavelength helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, pigmentation, redness and inflammation as well as scaring by increasing oxygenation of tissue and stimulating the production of healthy, new cells. For mild to severe acne, the BLUE light wavelength has purifying antibacterial properties which destroys bacteria as well as tightens large pores. It goes deep within the skin, where topical treatments cannot reach, to reduce oil in the pores and destroy bacteria.
Much like a rubber band left out in the sun will shrink and break, when skin is exposed to the sun, the collagen in the skin will become brittle and break. Over time, this will lead to fine lines and aging skin as the collagen can no longer hold the skin together.
With the end of summer approaching, incorporate a series of LED light therapy treatments into your skin care regime to help prevent as well as reverse the damage caused by the sun. The number of treatments required varies depending on your age and skin condition however, you will require six treatments to achieve desired results with maintenance treatments every four to eight weeks. Ten treatments may be required for certain skin types and conditions
LED is not suitable if you:
- are pregnant: although sufficient studies have not made to assess the risk to pregnant women and their babies, we do not recommend it.
- are epileptic: certain light frequencies may trigger an epileptic seizure.
- have a thyroid condition or taking thyroid medication: although sufficient studies have not been made on whether or not light frequencies can interfere with thyroid conditions, we do not recommend it.
- are taking photosensitive medications (drugs that increase skin sensitivity to the sun - ie: Tetracycline or Accutane).
This fall, enjoy smooth, even, healthy and radiant skin with LED Light Therapy Treatments!
