To know your undertone, look at the colour of your veins on your inner arm. If the veins appear green, your undertone is warm. If they appear blue, your undertone is likely a cool pink undertone.
The shade categories are: Extra Light, Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, Deep and Very Deep. They are further broken down into undertones:
- neutral (ideal for all skin types)
- cool
- warm
- olive
- warm olive
- neutral cool
- neutral warm
- golden
- golden warm
The serum will initially appear lighter but will darken within a few minutes to it’s true colour. A serum with a neutral undertones will work with all skin types. Remember that mineral SPF offers a blurring quality that make the shades more forgiving.
Apply the serum as your final layer over your moisturizer or balm.
